How To Get Your Maricopa County Marriage License

-
Step 1 - Book An Appointment
Both of you need to go to one of the four Superior Court Offices located throughout the Phoenix Metro Area. IF you are in another county in Arizona, we can discuss which one to go to if needed.
Click here to schedule your 10 minute appointment onsite at 1 of the 4 Superior Court Offices
-
Step 2 - Print off Application
Save some time t the office and print off and have the application filled out in advance. Click here to get the application
Please make sure the address to have the RECORDED copy (post ceremony) sent to you is correct.
-
Step 3 - Payment
If you only pay $83 you will have to go to the downtown Phoenix office to get your recorded copy.
Pay upwards of $127 and even get a digital copy emailed to you, it is not a “legal” copy per se, but can help in certain situations.
-
Step 4 - Post Ceremony | Name Change
If you are going on your honeymoon right after or even a month after - you will need to use your maiden name!
DO NOT book flights with your new last name until you go through the name change process of 1. Social Security Office, 2. DMV and 3. Passport
It’s Your Wedding Day
Make sure you bring your marriage license
Ask your two witnesses in advance to sign your legal document (over age 18)
