Life is meant to be an experience of laughter, joy, and the dashes of emotion that come to us when we are vulnerable to our loved ones. I feel my journey as a Wedding Officiant has been one that has shown me many different aspects of a relationship.

I have always thought outside of the box in business and always look for more opportunities to share how two people communicate with each other. I find often times that most men don’t like to share how they feel and become more vulnerable with a stranger. Thus why I enjoy my “Love Story” calls with the couple individually. It gives me an opportunity to provide some insight (not counseling) on communication during the ceremony.

One thing about a ceremony is we never want to make fun of the other person. We want them to feel held up and supported.

I will never forget when I attended a wedding in my mid-20’s, the groom punched his bride in the arm and my initial reaction was, welp that won’t last more than a year. I was right.

That is the other thing about working with me, I am very intuitive and can ask the correct questions that I can tell someone is open to discuss. I don’t force a conversation to happen. I do hope we can giggle along the way. Many times I hear, that was way easier talking to you than I thought it would be. Thanks for listening, thanks for helping me to remember parts of our relationship I had forgotten and thanks for the inspiration and guidance on how to write my vows.

Your wedding day should be about sharing your love for each other. The reason you invite guests is to be able to talk about your love for each other.

One thing I am seeing more and more, during the couple’s first look or even their first touch they will state private vows to one another. Then I work with them on vows during the ceremony. If you can’t state promises to each other during your ceremony, my biggest question is … why are you getting married. Being their for each other for a few sentences is a powerful time.

Stand strong for your partner, soften for yourself and allow some guidance from me, your officiant. Your wedding day will be amazing!

Feel free to read my Google reviews here. It is your day and I make it as comfortable for each of you as possible.
