It was so important to me, that the person who married my husband and I, made the ceremony personal and knew about us as individuals and as a couple. She did just that! We had a conversation over the phone and spoke a few times over email before the actual ceremony. During that time she had me send her pictures of us and had both my husband and I fill out a questionnaire so she could get to know us a little better. We have a little one and she made sure to include him in our ceremony which was so special to us. Also my grandmother just recently passed and Amy said the most beautiful prayer for us, which touched everyone’s heart including Amy’s. We really felt like we knew her for a lifetime in that moment. She has the most calming voice which allowed us to stay calm and in the moment becuase let’s be real, your an excited/nervous wreck up at the alter.
